The Wine Collective is a group of makers with an insatiable obsession for quality and sustainability, gathering under one roof in a warehouse in Baltimore City to make and enjoy exceptional wine and food.

The greatest things are achieved when a community of people gathers to make something beautiful together.

They believe that the bounty of the soil and the sea reaches its highest expression and point of fulfillment when we gather to enjoy it around a table.

Baltimore has a long-standing tradition of brewing beer, and from 1872 to 1978 Brewers Hill was home to the National and Gunther Brewing Companies. As your neighborhood brewery, Mobtown Brewing has brought that tradition back to the community. Being locals ourselves, we want to share what we create with the city that inspires us most. We strive to produce fresh, innovative, and adventurous beers. We aspire to embrace the local history and culture of Baltimore in each beverage that we produce. Mobtown Brewing is a collaboration of friends that want to invite our customers into the passion we have to produce the best beer!

THE PROJECT

Located within the Union Collective business hub in the Medfield neighborhood of Baltimore, MD, Union Craft Brewing makes great beer and great company. With reverence for tradition and place, we brew beers that unite old and new ideas, the science and craft of brewing, and boldness and balance of flavor.

We’ve ordered a bulk supply of blank coffee sleeves. While enjoying good food, drinks, and conversation, we'll be tasked with filling those sleeves with positive messages, quotes, jokes, fun pictures and more.

We’re donating these sleeves to OneDo Cafe (Canton), Charmed Kitchen (Patterson Park) and Koba Cafe (Federal Hill). They will use those sleeves until they are gone, distributing them with coffee orders to their patrons throughout the week. How awesome will it be for someone to go to their favorite coffee shop, place their usual order, look down and see a fun message from you?

It's cold outside and our city could really use some kind messages. So we've partnered with Volunteering Untapped for their Second Saturday event on February 12th. Housed in the former St. Michael’s Church, the Ministry of Brewing is proud to be revitalizing a historic community gathering place. Their team brings together experienced industry professionals, resulting in beer and ambiance that will elevate your senses. The venue is HUGE with ample space to spread out and socially distance.

Volunteering Untapped is improving Baltimore through increasing volunteerism. The concept is simple – they volunteer with a different nonprofit organization in Baltimore on the second Saturday of every month from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, then spend the afternoon at a local bar for food, drinks, networking, and fun with everyone who volunteered. This program was created to give young professionals an opportunity for inspiring, rewarding and impactful experiences that will help forge a passion for future volunteering.

Suspended Brewing Company is a very small brewery in Pigtown, Baltimore. Our mission is to demonstrate that social justice and ecological stewardship can be a potent combination for business, and to be an uplifting presence in our community.

HandleBar Cafe is Baltimore's very first "Bicycle Cafe". Located in historical Fells Point, they have created a very unique space, complete with a full service restaurant, bar and bicycle shop. Handlebar's interior reflects the hip sensibilities inspired from California and around the world. They offer specialty coffee and espresso, wood-fired pizza, burritos and other dishes, as well as craft beer, wine and house cocktails.
